Is Poochkoo boarding cage-free?

Yes, every Poochkoo centre is 100% cage-free. Pets stay in cosy private suites or open play areas with trained caretakers supervising 24×7. No kennels, no cages — ever.

Are vaccinations required for boarding and grooming?

Yes. For dogs we require up-to-date DHPP, Rabies and Kennel Cough (Bordetella). For cats, FVRCP and Rabies. Please carry the vaccination card on check-in. We can also recommend partner vets if anything is due.

What does the boarding fee include?

All plans include cosy bedding, premium meals (or your home food), unlimited play time, daily updates with photos, and 24×7 caretaker supervision. Royal and Maharaja plans add private suites, spa sessions and priority vet on-call.

Do you offer pickup and drop-off?

Yes — pickup and drop-off across the city is available as an add-on for both boarding and grooming. Slots fill quickly on weekends, so book at least 48 hours in advance.

What if my pet has a medical emergency?

Our partner vets are on-call 24×7. We notify you immediately and follow your written instructions. For Royal and Maharaja plans, vet visits within the centre are included.

How early should I book boarding?

For weekdays, 3–5 days in advance is usually fine. For weekends, long weekends or festive seasons (Diwali, Christmas, summer holidays), please book 2–3 weeks ahead — these slots sell out fast.

Can I visit the centre before booking?

Absolutely. We encourage every pet parent to take a free centre tour before the first stay. Just message us on WhatsApp at +91 73490 61004 and we'll book a convenient slot.

Question 8

What grooming services do you offer?

Accepted Answer

Bathing, drying, brushing, ear cleaning, nail clipping, sanitary trims, full breed-specific haircuts, de-shedding, de-tick treatment, paw spa, teeth brushing, and aromatherapy. Mobile grooming vans are available in select cities.

What is your cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the booking. Within 48 hours, 50% of the first night's fee is charged. No-shows are charged in full. Festive-season bookings have stricter terms — full details are shared at booking time.

Which cities is Poochkoo available in?

We currently operate in 12 Indian cities including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Goa and Kochi. New centres are added every quarter.

Do you accept senior pets or pets with special needs?

Yes. We have caretakers trained for senior pets, post-surgery recovery and specific medication schedules. Please mention any medical condition while booking so we can pair the right caretaker.

How do I pay?

Accepted Answer

We accept UPI, all major credit and debit cards, net banking and cash. A 30% advance secures your booking; the balance is paid at check-in.
